Job Summary

Job Summary

The School Nurse will assist the educational team in meeting the medical needs of each individual student.

Requirements / Qualifications

Experience working with public schools, pediatrics, child care centers or related agencies Experience as a school nurse preferred Bachelors Degree Valid CA License to practice as a Registered Nurse Health Services School Nurse Credential, or be eligible for a Preliminary Health Services School Nurse Credential. Valid California Drivers License and proof of automobile insurance. Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint Response

  • Certificate Copy (Audiometry Certificate, or eligible to obtain the certification within one year)
  • Certification (Valid RN license issused by the state of California)
  • Credential Copy (Copy of health services school nurse credential, or be eligible for a preliminary credential at the time of hire)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters of recommendation are required)
  • Other (Copy of Bachelors Degree)
  • Resume
