Job Summary
The Substitute Teacher co-creates an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of children in the realization of their fullest learning potential. She or he is responsible for assisting the teacher in the day-to-day teaching and functioning of the class. The Substitute Teacher provides a fun and enriching program. This is as needed within the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Ability to relate to children and adults with maturity, respect and compassion. • Minimum of 12 units Early Childhood Education - Required • Minimum of 1 year experience at the appropriate age level • Excellent communication skills • Able to meet all DSS Licensing requirements including background and vaccinations
