Under general direction of the Business Services administrator, performs complex and responsible secretarial and functions to relieve the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services of clerical and administrative detail by coordinating, organizing, leading, and participating in the various operational aspects of the administrator’s assignment; and performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination of experience and training which would indicate possession of knowledge, skills and abilities listed herein. High School Diploma or above; Three to five years of secretarial experience, may be combined with professional administrative training; computer experience, word process/spreadsheet and data base experience required. Typing certificate showing proof of 60 + net words per minute. This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) full-time position working 8 hours per day, 12 months per year.
Typing/Keyboarding Certificate indicating 60+ WPM. The test must be 5 minutes in length and the certificate must be issued by an accredited school or agency and dated within one year prior to the filing date listed on the job announcement. Please note: typing tests obtained via the internet will not be accepted. A valid Class C California Driver’s License and evidence of appropriate insurance may be required. Other: An automobile to be used in the course of work that meets the current legal requirements for vehicle operation in the state of California. Must maintain insurance coverage for vehicle and provide proof of coverage to the district.
