Job Summary
This high level Administrative Assistant position, aka Department Coordinator, performs administrative tasks in support of department goals and objectives for the Superintendent and Executive Department for Springs. This position will directly support the superintendent, administrator, directors and department members in a variety of ways including the answering of routine inquiries from parents and/or prospective parents, maintaining assessment calendar, scheduling appointments, conferences and meetings, and a variety of other operational details. Requirements / Qualifications
BA/BS preferred; or Associate's degree + 4 years Administrative Assistant experience; or 10 years proven success as an Administrative Assistant. Must be detail oriented, have excellent analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to self-initiate work under minimal supervision; must possess strong oral and written communication skills; must possess strong interpersonal skills and professionalism as well as be able to build and maintain positive working relationships, interact cooperatively with others, and keep confidential information; and must possess strong computer skills and be willing to learn software applications to adequately support department requirements.
Competency test will be administered to qualified applicants as part of the selection process. Must apply through EdJoin and upload required documents named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.
