The purpose of a Plant Lead III is to provide skilled custodial and facility support services at a comprehensive high school; ensure an attractive, clean, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors; perform a variety of special cleaning and minor maintenance operations; oversee and support the preparation of facilities for activities and events; oversee and support assigned custodians in the performance of their assignments; and ensure that assignments are completed in a safe, proper, and timely manner. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description including graduation from high school and three (3) years of custodial experience in a school or related environment. WORKING CONDITIONS: Subject to indoor and outdoor environment and regular exposure to fumes, dust and odors.
