Responsible to the Special Education Director for program components. The teacher shall provide instruction to pre-school children using appropriate instructional materials in order to provide suitable group and individual instructional and learning experiences for students identified as requiring a special class setting for the majority of the day as specified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Coordinates all aspects of an individuals designed program to assure students receive all necessary services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: . Credential: Education Specialist Credential – Early Childhood Special Education (Birth - Pre-K) M/M Must meet ESEA Highly Qualified teacher requirements . Education: Earned Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution . Experience: Teaching experience preferred . Personal Appearance, grooming, and personality which establish a desirable example for pupils. Ability to meet district standards for physical and mental health. Must have proven Qualities: ability to relate well with students, parents, administrators, and teachers.
