Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from high school or GED. Two years’ experience in either electrical or HVAC trades. Formal trade training or apprentice experience is preferred. The District may require employees to participate in training to advance and/or maintain technical knowledge and skills within their classifications. Such training will be provided at District expense. Pass District pre-employment physical. An employee in this job classification may be required to transport him or herself, and possibly others, to and from different work site. As such, the successful candidate for this job classification may be required to furnish proof that the candidate is able to perform this essential job function, with or without reasonable accommodation, when and if a job offer is made to the candidate. Proof may include, but may not be limited to, a valid California driver license. Reasonable accommodation will be discussed on a case by case basis.
