Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree – education or related field • 5+ years' experience as an early childhood educator, preferably working with underserved communities and families • 2+ years’ experience in curriculum development • Strong understanding of early childhood development, milestones, and learning progressions • Demonstrated understanding of early learning core content subject areas, socio-emotional learning, and media literacy • Experience training educators, providers, and/or organizations • Demonstrated success in creating resources to meet individual partner, stakeholder, and community needs, communicating regularly with existing partners, and identifying additional opportunities for collaboration • Bilingual Spanish preferred • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with people at all levels and backgrounds and build trustworthy relationships. • Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts, models, and technologies • Proactive, dynamic, and results driven individual • Creative; entrepreneurial; ability to explore, adapt, and bring new ideas to work • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, taking them from inception through completion. • Ability to track results, analyze information and communicate findings effectively using spreadsheets, presentation tools, etc. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, follow-through capabilities and personal accountability for performance. • Excellent oral and written communication as well as presentation skills in diverse environments. • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other organizations.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
The working conditions are primarily a telecommuting setting. However, the position will require off-site travel to donors and/or other such locations as necessary. Depending on the position, job duties, and subject to the discretion of the company, the position may be telecommuting eligible in whole or part.
