Math Long Term Sub Position at Rosary Academy Rosary Academy is currently accepting applications for the position of Long Term Math Sub for the Fall/Winter of 2024. Candidate must teach a broad range of Math classes including but not limited to Geometry. Preference will be given to someone with training and/or experience in technology integration in the classroom. Responsibilities and Duties: Teaching: • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to create an academically rigorous, college-going culture that is both challenging and supportive of students • Implement curriculum that utilize challenges students research-based instructional strategies and methods • Engage all learners and successfully manage a classroom environment • Connect daily student learning to real-world problems and situations in the Math field Qualifications: • B.A./B.S. in Math or Masters’ in Math • California Credential in a Math related field preferred • Must be flexible and patient with students; able to present complex content in a variety of ways • Willingness and desire to teach students who might be reluctant learners • Strong affinity for hands-on teaching and learning • Motivation to engage all students, especially reluctant learners Requirements Interested candidates please email cover letter, resume and application to ahurtado@rosaryacademy.org Contact Amanda Hurtado Phone: (714) 879-6302 ahurtado@rosaryacademy.org 1340 N.
