Requirements / Qualifications

Applicant must be currently enrolled in secondary or post-secondary education as per AVID program requirements. Attach transcripts to verify current student status. Students in their first semester may attach documentation to verify enrollment in lieu of transcripts.

Applicants must attach their most recent transcripts or enrollment verification to the application. When uploading the file, select "Copy of Transcript" as the document type from the list provided by ED-JOIN. If hired, you will be expected to provide proof of each new schedule in order to remain employed as an AVID tutor..

You will not need to reapply for subsequent school years. You will only need to show your new course transcripts. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance, submit to a general tuberculosis examination/ physical, be fingerprinted, and show proof of their identity and right to work in the United States as conditions of employment.
