Note: This position is a 0.5 FTE Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA). The TOSA position may include, but not be limited to, time spent doing math and reading intervention, science projects, or other special assignments. Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) position may include, but not be limited to the following: 1) teaching one hour of science once per week to each of our 10 classrooms in our TK-6 grade school; 2) teaching and coordinating an intervention pull out or push in program for mathematics; 3) Collaborating with paraprofessionals who are engaged in either science or math instruction/intervention; 4) Substitute teach for classrooms as needed if no subs are available; 5) Coordinate and teach in an after school program until 4PM; 6) Other duties as assigned.
