Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Special Education or designee, assist in the organization, planning, implementation and evaluation of the District’s Special Education Programs in grades preschool though twelve and adult transition programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in special education or a related field. A minimum of five (5) years year experience working with students with special needs. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Teaching or Services Credential Valid California Administrative Services Credential, preferred Board Certified Behavior Analyst, preferred Valid California Driver's License

There are approximately 4,400 students in the K-12 schools of the Charter Oak Unified School District. Charter Oak is located approximately 25 miles east of Los Angeles. The district consists of 5 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 continuation school, 1 four-year high school and 1 adult school.
