Valid CA Special Education teaching credential and Valid CA Administrative Services credential or Certificate/Letter of eligibility for an Administrative credential Valid CA Class C driver's license.

PROGRAM SPECIALIST JOB DUTIES:
Report directly to the Director of Human Resources, while supporting the Coordinators of Special Education.
• Liaison for the Special Education department and the Human Resources department for all SPED staff hiring, recruiting and retention.
• Program oversight includes, but is not limited to - Resident Programs, Student Teachers, Interns.
• Program monitoring progress and reporting for federal, state and county agencies
• Liaison with University and program partners, maintain a positive working relationship.
• Collect, analyze, and report out on all data, for all program oversight.
• Facilitate and support professional development and trainings.
• Assist in the formulation of practices and procedures for programs to assure an economical safe, and efficient work environment.
• Attend and conduct a variety of meetings, conferences, and workshops as assigned.
• Communicate with other administrators, personnel, and outside organizations to coordinator assigned activities and programs, resolve issues and conflicts and exchange information.
