Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the CBO leads, plans, organizes, assigns, directs, and reviews the work of the Business Office (including budgeting, fiscal reporting, and purchasing). Oversees the Facilities, Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, and Nutritional Services Departments.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/business or in fields related to position. Master’s degree in business, management, finance, or related field preferred. Training and/or coursework in school business management (preferred). Process knowledge of school business and fiscal services, including budget development, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, auditing, collective bargaining, facility maintenance, purchasing, contracts, bidding procedures, transportation, fleet maintenance, child nutrition and technology. A minimum of four years experience in one of the above, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity. Five years of school district experience preferred.
