The job of Office Assistant is done for the purpose/s of supporting the educational process by communicating information to staff and the public; providing complete and accurate records; and providing and/or distributing information and/or direction as may be requested. Employees in this job classification perform the functions and related tasks indigenous to the work assignment and/or location in which they serve.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of general clerical or data entry experience. Relevant experience, education, certificates/licenses may be substituted. APPLICATIONS MUST LIST WORK EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process will include screening to ensure application is complete and applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include a two-part online exam. Part one is scheduled for Sept. 14-16, 2023 for all qualified applicants. Those candidates achieving a passing score of 70%, will be invited to take part two, scheduled for Sept. 21-23, 2023. Links to take the exams online will be sent to qualified candidates by email. Passing score is 70% on each exam. An eligibility list will be established and the top three ranks of candidates from the list will receive an interview. Additional interviews will be conducted in rank order until all open positions are filled and as positions open in the future. All eligible candidates will remain on the list for one year.
