Job Summary
Job Summary
The Director, County Community Schools and Partnerships provides leadership to Alameda County school districts and schools implementing Community Schools strategies, including those that have received a California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) planning or implementation grant. The Director, County Community Schools and Partnerships, will coordinate with the State and Regional Technical Assistance Centers (S-TACs and R-TACs) and Alameda County governmental partners, community-based organizations, and other external partners to efficiently support the implementation of the California Community Schools Framework across Alameda County. Additionally, this position will help identify and secure sustainable community schools funding sources and expand partnerships with community partners. This position will be in-person at ACOE, with frequent travel to various locations throughout Alameda County.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education & Experience: Valid California Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services Credential (required) Bachelor’s Degree in education or a related field (required) Valid California Administrative Services Credential (preferred) Master’s Degree (preferred) A minimum of five (5) years educational or related experience in a county, district, and/or nonprofit organization A minimum of 3+ years supervisory experience in a county, district, and/or nonprofit organization Valid California driver's license and the ability to travel frequently, sometimes with overnight stay for meetings (Required) Read Job Description for a complete list of job requirements and experience required
