Requirements / Qualifications

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, perform technical and responsible administrative support duties in assigned functions of the human resources office, such as recruitment or benefit administration activities; serve as informational resource and provide assistance to employees, job applicants, and the general public regarding personnel functions, policies, and procedures; prepare and maintain a variety of manual and automated personnel files, records, and reports; maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or the equivalent supplemented by college level coursework in a related field and three years of increasingly responsible experience in a human resources office. Upon employment, ability to be certified under the Department of Justice (DOJ) Fingerprint Rolling Certification Program. DOJ certification criteria includes: legal California residency at time of certification, a minimum age of 18, and satisfactory completion of a prescribed application and criminal background investigation. Possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
