Add'l Salary Info
$19.71-$26.41 per hour. Initial placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 5 ($23.96/hr) for external applicants. Internal employees who have completed 14 and/or 20 years of uninterrupted service to the District, shall be granted a longevity step.

Requirements
12 college units of Early Childhood Education coursework; valid First Aid and CPR cards; Child Development Associate Teacher Permit and/or AA degree in ECE; prior experience in working with preschool age children; per AB792-proof of Flu, MMR and TDAP vaccinations at time of hire; passing a physical involving pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying at time of hire.
Note
A. A. degree, Child Development permit, and Health and Safety certification desired; bilingual Spanish desired.
