Job Summary
Under the supervision of the ROP Program Manager, the ROP Hourly Teacher, Veterinary Assistant, provides instruction to prepare students for employment and advanced education and training in careers/fields involving veterinary assistants. The ROP Hourly Teacher develops and implements instructional plans to assist students in acquiring the skills and knowledge needed as a veterinary assistant.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential in Animal Science; -or- a valid California credential that authorizes the teaching of Animal Science; -or- proof of enrollment in a credential program that will grant a credential authorization for Animal Science upon completion.
