Seeking a private teacher for two girls entering the 7th and 3rd grade. The children have been learning with the support of a private teacher for over one year. The parents are looking for a more personalized and engaging learning experience for their children that is focused on individual growth and real-world learning. The ideal candidate will be a kind and patient person with a demonstrable understanding of how to make one-on-one learning fun and engaging.
Requirements / Qualifications
• A teaching credential required (equivalent life or teaching experience considered) • Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience • Applicants must currently reside or be willing to travel a short commute to the East Bay area to provide in-person instruction Monday-Friday for 3-5 instructional hours daily. • Applicants must have knowledge and experience working with elementary and middle school students. Required Documents • Resume/Curriculum Vitae • Credential copy • Copy of transcript with degree conferred. • Letter of introduction • Letter(s) of recommendation • List of 3 professional reference • Live Scan Background Check Required Before Employment
