Job Title: Special Education Instructional Assistant II (1:1) Department: Special Education Reports to: Special Education Teacher, Special Education Coordinator, School Director Classification: Classified Hours: 5 hours per day(8a-1p) Salary: $21.53 - $29.72 (DOE) The job of Special Education Instructional Assistant II is to provide support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of a student with special needs in the general education setting; assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student academics and behavior; and providing information to appropriate school personnel. *Review attached job description for more details
Requirements / Qualifications
*Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma, HS Transcripts, GED or Higher) *CPR and CPI Certifications. Must obtain it as soon as the schedule allows. *Commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of students. *Be able to work collaboratively with parents in the classroom and community. *Bilingual (Spanish/English with native-like fluency in both).
