Sonoma Charter School: Teacher Position 2023-24 School Year Faculty Position Over View: The teacher serves in a professional capacity as an active member of the school community and as a faculty team member. The teacher will work collaboratively within the teaching team and is responsible for preparing and implementing a balanced curriculum which addresses the individual needs of each child enrolled in their classroom or special program. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Being accountable for students’ mastery of academic standards. • Commitment to continuous professional development. • High behavioral expectations and strong classroom management skills. • Reinforcing school-wide rules and expectations in and outside of the classroom. • The desire to work as part of a team. • Single-subject teaching credential in area of posting. • Valid California Teaching Credential • CLAD/EL Authorization required. • NCLB Highly Qualified
