Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements: Possession of a valid California multiple subject or standard elementary credential and experience or student teaching at the elementary level. CLAD/English Language Learner certification or equivalent is required. One of the following will need to be completed by 8/1/2025: a. At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both. Courses must be from a regionally accredited institution, degree applicable, and C or better. b. A child development Teacher, Master Teacher, Site Supervisor, or Program Director Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). c. Assigned to teach TK, or a combination class of kindergarten and TK, on or before July 1, 2015

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance, and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
