The expanded learning specialist is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of all program components and program activities in the expanded learning program.
This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: This position guides the academic and social development of children; ensuring a safe, enriching, and healthy learning environment. The Expanded Learning Specialist uses a variety of resources, provided by the Expanded Learning Coach to introduce new skills throughout the execution of activities. To accomplish this,
specialists are required to participate in ongoing professional development and planning sessions with the expanded learning site coach on a regular basis. This job reports to Director of Expanded Learning
