About the Employer
We are a unified school district serving more than 16,150 students in grades K -12. We have thirteen elementary schools, four middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, three specialized high schools, two alternative high schools and one K-8 school. We also offer a home schooling program, adult education courses and other unique programs to fit the needs of all students. Our school district employs approximately 1,100 certificated and nearly 900 classified employees. Eligibility is determined via an evaluation and competitive screening/scoring of a candidate’s training and experience as demonstrated on the application and responses provided in the supplemental questions.

It is for individuals that are interested in working on-call and as-needed to service the district needs during employee absences or position vacancies. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned administrator, patrol and supervise campus activities to assure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors in non-classroom activities; enforce and assure student compliance with school and District rules, regulations, and procedures. KNOWLEDGE OF: Proper methods of individual and group supervision, basic interests, attitudes and emotional development of adolescents, oral and written communication skills, health and safety regulations, interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy, basic record-keeping techniques, basic First Aid and CPR techniques. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. The selection process will consist of a competitive qualifying application screening and interview.
