NCOE partners with the five public school districts in Napa County on a variety of programs and issues. NCOE also operates numerous federal and state grants including a robust AmeriCorps program and state-wide projects supporting Special Education students. Job Summary
GENERAL INFORMATION: Foster youth attending Napa County Schools and those foster youth under the jurisdiction of the Napa County Juvenile Court residing outside of Napa County. The program goal is to reduce or eliminate delays in school enrollment, increase school stability by prioritizing school of origin, strengthen the ability of foster youth to complete elementary and secondary education requirements, to obtain a high school diploma, and to develop educational or vocational goals beyond high school. Liaison will provide educational support for Foster Youth, serving as the information liaison between school districts and Child Welfare Services. This position is supervised by the Program Planner of Community Programs Department.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
• CDL and NCOE driving clearance required
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
