Job Summary
Ventura Unified School District is seeking three Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSAs) t support our growing Expanded Learning Program and Early Literacy Teams. These TOSAs will each have specific duties within their skill sets to support after-school and intersession programs in content areas, enrichment, and instructional supports. They will each have a few specific sites in a geographical region to support with onsite assistance in the afternoons. Their workday will be 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM in order to support programs. In the hours prior to afterschool programming, TOSAs will work on development materials, preparing professional learning sessions, communicating with colleagues, serving on committees, and participating actively our district's Early Literacy Committee and initiatives.
