Job Summary
TLC Public Charter School is the first and only inclusion model program in Orange County that provides full access to General Education classrooms for each, every, and all students in our community. The Director of Special Education Inclusion at TLC will oversee inclusive educational programming for students with IEPs, with specific duties including: - Coordinate with co-teachers and service providers to ensure all students receive services as outlined in IEPs - Consult with and support co-teachers to develop and implement educational programming for students with IEPs - Ensure compliance for all deadlines, reporting, meetings, and assessments for students with IEPs - Ensure all records for students with IEPs are up-to-date, accurate, and fully compliant - Participate in IEP meetings with co-teachers, families, and service providers - Maintain positive and collaborative partnership with families, staff, and students with IEPs - Participate in SELPA trainings and meetings as Special Education Coordinator for TLC Qualifications: * Current, valid California Education Specialist credential (required) * Experience in inclusive education settings (preferred) * Bilingual Spanish (preferred)

Skills and Knowledge:
* Special Education -- IEP documentation and compliance, IEP coordination and scheduling, IEP smeetings and individualized programs, inclusive education (co-teaching, co-planning), overseeing support staff and staff development.
* Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) -- school-wide programs, peer support, socio-emotional development
* Student and family communication and relations -- building a strong and diverse community, bilingual (Spanish) preferred
* Staff collaboration -- supporting teaching teams and teacher leadership
