Job Summary

OPENING DETAILS: Monday - Friday, 7 hours per day Work Hours: TBD Salary Range: 48 (New employees to the district will begin at Step I. Exceptions based on relevant experience pending approval). BASIC FUNCTION: Under the assigned administrative supervision of the school principal and under the direction of the District Nurse, works closely with students, parents, and teachers to administer first aid; to perform nursing duties in the care and treatment of students; to assist school nurse in the care of students with chronic illness; to assist teachers in educating students; to prepare and administer medication; to assist District Nurse in the planning, organization, and implementation of district’s health services; perform a variety of clerical duties in support of student health services; prepares and maintains student immunization and health records and files; and do other related work as required.
