Job Summary
Manage and direct the operation of a food service facility. Supervise and participate in the preparation of meals and snacks. Responsible for timely and efficient preparation and serving of nutritional meals. Maintain food service facility in an orderly, safe and sanitary condition. Supervise assigned personnel. Train and supervise appropriate staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Four years’ experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving. Experience estimating and ordering large quantities of food. High school diploma or equivalent. College classes in nutrition, sanitation, food production management, psychology, and/or personnel management are desirable A valid Class C California Driver’s License and evidence of appropriate insurance according to Department of Motor Vehicle regulations may be required in addition to a valid Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certificate.
