Job Summary
The job of the Speech and Language Services Assistant is done for the purpose of assisting in providing all types of speech therapy services to identified students in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, under the direction/supervision of the program coordinator overseeing the Special Education Department, and of the credentialed speech and language therapist (SLP). This is an itinerant position and will work at various sites and under the direction/supervision of various speech and language therapists
Requirements / Qualifications
BA Degree in speech-language pathology or communicative disorders; or shall have graduated from a speech-language pathology assistant associate of arts degree program, or equivalent course of study. CPR/First Aid Certificate recommended.
