Atascadero Unified School District 5601 West Mall, Atascadero, CA 93422 DATE: July 28 2023 POSITIONS: SPECIAL NEEDS PARAEDUCATOR (SNP) ~Elementary and Secondary sites available~ SALARY: Range 24 (Step B - $18.00 to Step G - $22.97) ? Sick Leave, Vacation Pay, 11paid Holidays & CalPERS Retirement. ? Eligible for various pro-rated health, dental and vision insurance benefits. HOURS: Monday through Friday - 6.5 hours per day 195 day (184 work days + 11paid holidays) QUALIFICATIONS: Complete job description available at the District Office or online. ? One year experience working with students with special needs is preferred ? Successful completion of 48 College Units, or an AA Degree, or pass Professional Aide test with 70% accuracy. ? Complete Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) within 130 days of employment ? Bilingual Desirable ? Must pass DOJ Fingerprint Clearance ? TB Clearance required prior to working ?
