HBCSD is currently comprised of three school sites, Hermosa View, Hermosa Vista, and Hermosa Valley School. Job Summary
Job Summary
The School Nurse will lead and manage the COVID-19 Response Plan, prepare student medical plans as needed, supervise Health Aides in coordination with school principals, prepare state reports, coordinate annual student screenings.

Hermosa Beach City School District is located in a beautiful beach town with a very modern yet relaxed atmosphere. The Hermosa schools' student body is small and high achieving. We have a friendly, collaborative staff. Professional development is an important part of our certificated staff culture. Our parents are very active and supportive of their students and the schools.
HBCSD has a robust certificated salary schedule with placement based upon your education and experience teaching in a public school. All regular credentialed positions participate in the CalSTRS retirement system. The certificated School Nurse position work year is 183 days, however, please note this is a part-time position at 60% FTE. Pay rate and sick days allocated will be prorated at the rate of percentage of work per month.
