Job Summary
The job of “Skilled Maintenance II-Lead” is done for the purpose/s of maintaining facilities in safe operating condition; maintaining a preventive maintenance program; documenting information, resolving immediate operational and/or safety concerns, ensuring assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner and directing assigned workers as necessary; and is done for the purpose/s of completing construction projects safely and within established time frame; ensuring efficient and safe utilization of space; producing required cabinetry and furnishing; ensuring adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner; ensuring assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner and directing assigned workers as necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance; Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and /or Testing Required
Experience in related field; Skills to: operating hand and power tools used in craft, develop, read and interpret plans/blueprints, perform basic math to make calculations; Knowledge of: methods and use of materials, tools and equipment used in craft, appropriate building codes, required safety practices; Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, establish priorities, work independently and with minimal supervision.
