The TLC After School Extended Learning Coordinator will develop, prepare, and implement extended learning and intervention activities for 1st - 6th grade students, with a focus on literacy and math. The After School Extended Learning Coordinator will collaborate with school administration, intervention coordinators, and teachers, and will oversee after school staff implementing activities with students day to day. This part-time position will include both planning and preparation as well as some direct work with students and staff. In addition, the After School Extended Learning Coordinator will manage After School staff and monitor program activities each day to ensure quality programming and safety. The After School Extended Learning Coordinator will track daily attendance and ensure students safety until pick-up. Experience in After School programming and is highly recommended. Ability to oversee staff and maintain positive communication with students and families is required. Other skills include: ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, ability to train support staff for implementation, creative problem-solving and programming experience is helpful, strong communication skills are necessary. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
