Job Summary

Job Summary

Under supervision of the appropriate administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher, assists the teacher in the instruction and care of students who are severely disabled including management of student behavior; record keeping; instructional assistance; medical care; classroom organization; and interaction and communication with students, support staff, parents and agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position is currently open to internal transfers from 7/21/23 to 7/27/23. If you are non probationary, hold the same title and are interested in a transfer, please submit a transfer request form to the Human Resources Office by 7/27/2023 4:00pm. A transfer is a move within the same classification from one site or location to another or one shift to another. If no transfer requests are submitted by the due date, applicants from the Pool Posting will be screened for an interview. In house WUSD employees will be granted a 20% advantage if selected for an interview.
