The school community is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and caring Science Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate will be able to provide dynamic and goal-driven lesson planning, engaging students with differentiated learning and strong classroom management. Qualifications: • A Bachelor of Science degree • A valid CA Teaching credential (or a reciprocal credential from another state) is preferred • Excellent classroom management skills and a dynamic, healthy rapport with students • Teaching experience with children ages 9 to 14 • Demonstrated communication skills with parents, students and colleagues • Ability to utilize and integrate technology in a classroom environment • Commitment to student engagement and growth Job Responsibilities: • Plan and implement daily lessons for grades 4-8 following the school curriculum • Provide academic guidance and direction to allow students to actively engage and think critically • Provide timely and effective feedback for student learning, maintaining accurate grades • Communicate with school parents and students in a timely, professional manner • Collaborate with other teachers for tracking the growth and achievement of students • Be present at designated school functions, and perform additional teacher duties as directed by the Principal Salary: $54,500-$104,931 Base range (additional stip
