Requirements / Qualifications
Please note that all employees in the Sacramento City Unified School District must meet the District’s vaccination requirement which states that ALL employees must either be vaccinated prior to employment or have an approved exemption on file. BASIC FUNCTION: Under direction, to plan, carry out, and evaluate instructional activities for both groups and individual students, as appropriate for the assigned segment and subject area(s). TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and demonstrated success, either in prior teaching, student teaching, and/or related experiences, in meeting the intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of pupils, is required.
- 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit (All Grade Levels/Subjects) OR Designated Subjects Vocational Education Teaching Credential (Designated Subjects in Adult Education)
OR Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (General Subjects)
OR Single Subject Teaching Credential - Other (Preferred: Special Ed, Math & Science)

You must have an active credential or 30 day permit with CCTC in order to be considered for this position. Please upload a copy of your credential/30 day permit to your online application.
If selected you will receive an email from the Substitute Office noting the following items:
SSN Card
California I.D
TB Test ( no more than 60 days old )
Official Transcripts showing your B.A degree or higher
Credential/30 day permit
Basic Skill Requirement verification (CBEST/CSET/Other)
