Job is pending board approval. Under the direction of the assigned administrator, provide an age-appropriate educational program, and plan and coordinate the operations and supervision of an Early Childhood Development (ECD) program for infants and toddlers; supervise, train and evaluate assigned personnel; provide a safe and healthful environment for children in the program.

Requirements / Qualifications

LICENSE REQUIRED: • Child Development Program Director Permit • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or higher • CPR and First Aide Certificates • Possession of a valid Californian Driver’s License and remain insurable at the District’s standard insurance market rate.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field including coursework in supervision or program administration. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in related field or two years of paid experience working with children and youth
