Applicant is required to have any combination of: 2 years of education in a behavioral science, social service or education related area and 1 year of experience in a classroom or educational setting and must be able to pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. May require a valid driver’s license. May require a valid first aid card. Application must be complete and show a combination of the minimum required education and experience. The job of Expanded Learning Coach is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational
process with specific responsibilities for organizing age-appropriate activities for school age students;
coaching Expanded Learning Specialists; ensuring the coordination and distribution of meals/snacks;
providing assistance with homework; assisting in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for
students; and ensuring compliance with district, state and federal guidelines.
This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Expanded Learning Coach assists with the facilitation of the after school program activities. The position requires sufficient
competency in subject matter support to provide orientation and oversight to the Expanded Learning
Specialists and subject matter tutors.
This job reports to Assigned Administrator/Manager
