Job Summary
In a bilingual capacity, assists teachers in the conduct of lesson and classroom activities to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring for children needing assistance. Organizes student records and ELD materials. Responsible for ELPAC Testing. Consults with ELD Coordinator regarding identifying and redesignating English Learners. Other related duties as assigned.

Bilingual (Eng./Spanish) Instructional Aide. 6 hours per day. Must be NCLB compliant. Knowledge of CELDT requirements a plus.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: Must have high school diploma or the equivalent. Must have passed the County Aide Proficiency test or possess an A.A. degree or higher, have 2 years of college (48 units). Must meet all requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act.
Must have passed the County Aide Proficiency test or possessed an A.A. degree or higher (48 units) and provide documentation. Two current (past 2 years) letters of recommendation related to employment Proof of TB clearance. To comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all new employees must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
