Requirements / Qualifications
Looking for substitute teachers with 30-Day Substitute Teacher permits OR valid CA Preliminary credential or better. CLAD or BCLAD or equivalent desired. If you do not have a 30-Day Substitute Teacher permit credential with the CTC already, you are welcome to apply and a member of our team will reach out to assist you with getting the permit. A completed bachelors degree is required.
Interested applicants must submit the following to be considered: • Completed Ed-Join application • Current resume • Copy of credential/permit (if applicable) • 1 to 2 recent letters of recommendation

Long-Term Assignments are defined as those scheduled for more than 10 consecutive work days in a single assignment.
Dedicated Assignments are defined as those assignments where the substitute employee is selected to work every workday at a specific site or selected to work every work day for WJUSD.
