Provide instruction to adult ESL students in reading writing, speaking, listening and job soft skills. ESL Instructor--High Beginning Level Mon-Thursday, 6:00-9:00 PM Substitutes needed for morning, afternoon and evening. Satisfactory performance as a substitute often leads to regular assignments. Successsful applicants must possess a Designated Subjects: ESL Authorization Credential or other appropriate credential. An Emergency Credential is not sufficient. Preference given to applicants with experience teaching ESL to adults.
Requirements / Qualifications
Credential required: Applicants must have passed CBEST and possess an appropriate credential. ESL/ELD teacher training and language experience, preferable at the adult level, are highly desirable. This current opening is for the following days/hours: Monday - Thursday, HOURS VARY DUE TO CLASS ENROLLMENT (4-12 hours per week). Resume Letter of Interest 3 current letters of recommendation
ESL Instructor— (PAEC Main Campus) Open until filled. Position begins immediately upon board approval.
