Job Summary
Sylvia Mendez Elementary is a Two-Way Immersion school. The ideal candidates should have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Spanish Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD, BASP, etc.). If you are fluent in Spanish (reading and writing), but do not have a Bilingual Authorization, we may be able to get you a temporary/emergency permit, so please apply anyway. Spanish bilingual Intern candidates are welcome as well.

**Teachers hired on Emergency, Intern, or (STSP/PIP) Credentials have a salary range of $52,372 to $67,590** (Credit given for up to 18 years)
