Long Term Preschool Substitute Teacher at Magnolia Elementary
Job Summary
Job Summary
The applicant hired for this position will work every day in a regular education preschool class (excluding weekends and off track days) from 08/22/23 - 12/21/23 and 01/08/24. Once the long term position ends, the applicant will remain on the substitute list for day-to-day assignments and other long term opportunities.
Requirements / Qualifications
To apply for the position of Long Term Preschool Substitute Teacher you must hold a CA Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential w/EL Authorization and meet one (1) of the minimum requirements below: -Child Development Associate Teacher Permit -12 units of Early Childhood Education in core classes (ie. Child Development/Principles and Practices in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Education Curriculum/The Child, Family, and Community)
In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:
- Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts will be required upon employment)
- Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC)
- Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. David Appling)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Signed Letters Required - No more than 3)
- Resume
- Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR & MSAT/CSET & RICA [if applicable] )

SALARY
Temporary Salary Increase: The daily salary ranges from $135-$145 daily. Effective 08/22/23-06/14/24, the daily rate will increase by $50.00 per day ($185-$195 per day).
In addition to the daily rate, all long term assignments will add an additional $15.00 per day.
Preschool Substitutes work an additional 1/2 hour per day and will be compensated with an additional $10.00 per day.
