Job Summary

Purpose Statement San Domenico School, a K-12 independent school in San Anselmo, is seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Residential Life Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is part of our expanding team and growing School. The addition of this position will provide support to the Residential Life program, specifically to the Director and Assistant Director of Residential Life. This is a full-time, year-round position. Job Responsibilities of Residential Life Administrative Assistant Monitor and track boarding student attendance in the mornings, documenting student absences and tardies Provide administrative support for Residential Life Office, which may include supporting and/or coordinating clubs on campus, weekend and afternoon activities, on-campus events Support Director of Residential Life and Assistant Director of Residential Life in administrative tasks Serve as the representative for the Boarding Program at the weekly all-school calendar team meeting and communicate important notes/dates to Resident Faculty Manage office tasks, including catering orders, office supplies, and regular use of school-based student information systems (Veracross, REACH, etc.) Assist in the planning and coordination of on-campus and off-campus events Attend all RF meetings, take and share minutes with Resident Faculty. In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Residential Life, maintain the RF schedule

Qualifications Ability to maintain a patient and professional demeanor with students, families, and staff Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and writing skills Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive knowledge Ability to work independently, a strong work ethic, and a desire to work with a diverse group of students, parents and faculty Possesses the flexibility and commitment to teamwork that life in an independent boarding/day school requires Possesses an appreciation working with adolescents, a collaborative and a consistent approach to student needs Minimum 3 years of full-time clerical and/or administrative work experience in office administration Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong academic background required

Compensation Salary range is $68,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This position is classified as non-exempt.
