Under direction, supervise and participate in the grounds and custodial activities of an assigned middle and adult/alternative education school or district level site(s) of equivalent size; perform semi-skilled and skilled grounds maintenance and custodial work as part of the grounds and custodial maintenance services for the District; train, supervise and evaluate assigned personnel. DISTINGUISING CHARACTERISTICS: Positions in this class are distinguished from the Plant Manager I and Plant Manager III classification by location of the position. Plant Manager I's are assigned to elementary schools and Plant Manger III are assigned to high schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and a combination of two(2) years of custodial work experience AND one(1) year of grounds work experience which included one (1) year in a supervisory capacity. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and proof of insurance.
