Job Summary

General Position: Under general direction of an assigned supervisor and in cooperation with an assigned case carrier, the Inclusion Technician serves identified special education students in order to maximize their learning potential and least restrictive environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Associate of Arts Degree or higher, or successful completion of Paraprofessional Certification prior to first day of employment required. Training or experience working in a special needs class is recommended. The position requires completion of district-provided Intensive Behavior Intervention training and certification by the consulting behaviorist that class and individual observations have been completed. Previous experience or training working in special needs classrooms or working with special needs students and students with behavior intervention plans preferred. Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at the cost of $62 to the employee.
