White Learning Center serves our students in grades TK-2. ** Castle Rock Elementary School serves our students in grades 3-5. ** Woodlake Valley Middle School serves our students in grades 6-8. ** Woodlake High School serves grades 9-12 students, and the Three Rivers and Seville students join the district. ** Bravo Lake also serves students in grades 9-12 who need an alternative setting. ** Woodlake Community Day School serves students in grades 7-12.

Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of certificated personnel, the Special Education Aide has the responsibility of providing support to special education services. The Special Education Aide is distinguished from other instructional aides in that they are required to perform duties that are necessary and appropriate to ensure that special education students receive services outlined on their individual Education Plan (I.E.P.) in accordance with federal law. Services include physical, emotional and mental support to special education students as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; AA/AS degree or at least 48 college units or passing score on the TCOE Instructional Aide Assessment Test.

Castle Rock Elementary – Grade: 4 Time: TBD Effective computer communication and organizational skills; Knowledge of positive reinforcement strategies; Ability to carry out oral/written direction, work collaboratively with students and teachers; Knowledge of basic filing and recordkeeping; Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
