Job Summary

St. Joseph the Worker School is a Pre-K to 8th elementary school serving the parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Church and the communities of the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Simi Valleys. As an After-School Daycare Supervisor for an elementary school, your primary responsibility will be to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students during the after-school hours. You will work closely with the daycare assistant and other staff members to ensure the well-being and enrichment of the children in your care. Typical hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm - 6:00pm, and Friday 12:30pm - 6:00pm. Additional morning hours are available: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-8:00am. Record keeping of daily attendance and ensuring the safe check-in and check-out of students each day will be a primary responsibility. You will also be responsible for planning a monthly calendar of activities. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on young children's lives, fostering their growth, and providing essential support in a safe and caring environment after their regular school hours.
